Jessops Construction are delighted to announce the launch of their East Grinstead community art project.
The project involves inviting local community groups to create and submit pieces of eye catching artwork based around East Grinstead's culture and heritage to brighten up the construction site on King Street.
The entries will then be judged and the best artists will be invited down to paint the final designs onto the exterior site fence hoarding.
Assistant site manager Darren Chiumento said "we recognise that the construction of this project hasn't been without its difficulties and we would like to encourage the local community to come together to create a site that they can be proud of. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Roy Henderson at 'About East Grinstead' for his assistance in promoting the project"
The artwork will be displayed on the hoardings at the construction site for the duration of the scheme.
To submit an entry please send to:
Michelle Thomas, Marketing, Jessops Construction Ltd
The Firs, 67 London Road, Newark, NG24 1RZ or email michelle.thomas@jessopsconstruction.co.uk
The closing date for entries is 5pm on Thursday 18th January 2018
