Extra Works Secured at Bradford

Jessops Construction are delighted to announce the securing of extra works at their Bradford scheme.
Clients, Quora (Bradford) Ltd. have instructed Jessops to complete an additional 1,100sqft retail unit and external works for end-user Greggs following receipt of a successful planning application along with additional works for the final parade unit which has now been let to Sue Ryder
This additional retail unit will be one of six on the 6.37 acre Clayton Road development. Seven major retailers have agreed to take up residence at the scheme including Aldi, who will occupy the largest unit at roughly 19,000sqft. Other well-known brands on the retail park will include coffee giants Starbucks, discount retailer Home Bargains, food retailer Heron Foods and the charity Sue Ryder. There will also be a Marston's pub & restaurant on the site.
Richard Sherry, Commercial Manager said, "The securing of these additional works are testament to the flexible approach we have in accommodating the changing needs of our clients. On this occasion, we have been able to facilitate these supplementary building works whilst not impacting on the programme which is a great result for our client."
Constructed over 40 weeks, the scheme which commenced in December 2017, will increase the retail provision for the local area whilst complementing the existing offer.
The scheme is due to be handed over to internal fit-out teams in October
