Are you a local community group or charity? Could you benefit from some help maintaining your premises?
Jessops Construction has just launched their exciting, new campaign, '12 Days of Community'.
Designed to give back to the community, this project will offer local groups, sport clubs and charities in Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire the opportunity to access free, additional support with the maintenance their facilities and materials up to £500.
The campaign will run from 25th November – 22nd December 2019 where groups are encouraged to submit short proposals, outlining why they feel they should win one of the days of maintenance.
12 charities will be selected, one for each month of 2020 when their respective maintenance days will take place.
Michelle Thomas, Business Development Lead at Jessops Construction who is heading up the campaign said "Having been the chairperson for a small pre-school, we found that we were often having to raise funds for necessary maintenance in our portakabin. This was money we didn't always have spare and as a result it caused additional financial pressure on the pre-school. A campaign like this would have been really beneficial for me during my time at the pre-school. I would encourage all local charities and community groups to get in touch. There are no lengthy forms to fill out, it is just a case of you telling us why your group would benefit from this assistance.'
The competition will run from 25th November 2019 until midnight 22nd December 2019. Those wishing to enter can download an application here (please click both hyperlinks for both pages of the application form)
A new winner will be announced every day from 25th December to the 5th January 2020.
