PC Achieved on Saltash

Jessops Construction has achieved PC on time and on budget on a new circa 45,000sqft Retail Park in Saltash, Cornwall.
The development is set on 3.60 acres off the A38 near to the Carkeel roundabout, consists of three steel framed, metal-clad retail units complete with external Cornish Rag stone and cedar boarded feature panels complementing the county's heritage.
The largest unit at 17,500sqft, has been let to well-established, discount retailer Home Bargains; this their 4th store in the county. An 11,000sqft unit has been let to The Food Warehouse, a subsidiary company of British food-retailer, Iceland. With the third, a 5,000sqft unit let to palliative, neurological bereavement support charity, Sue Ryder.
Also on the site is a two-storey McDonald's drive-thru restaurant using their trademark modular installation and a 1,800sqft Costa Coffee drive-thru restaurant; together with an associated 172 space car parking and essential retail unit plant and service points.
The scheme was completed on behalf of national commercial and mixed use property developer, Quora Ltd, a long-standing client for the Nottinghamshire firm.
Richard Wherry of Quora said: "We have worked with Jessops Construction on a number of schemes to date, all of which have been delivered to our clients exacting standards. We are thrilled to hand over Carkeel Gateway to the respective retailers to commence their internal fit-outs and begin trading."
Richard Davies, Contracts Manager for Jessops Construction said: "it has been fantastic to be involved in a project that will complement the existing retail offer in Saltash. Our team have worked tirelessly to deliver the scheme on time and budget".
