Following the successful completion of two previous projects for the school (see relevant project) Jessops Construction Ltd were appointed to design and build a new second accommodation block within the demise of the walled garden adjacent the Old Bothy.
The project involved the construction of a new build 2 storey accommodation block, new soft landscaping within the walled garden, piling and new structural slab over 2 existing dilapidating culvert sand a new tarmac wearing course to all the existing school estate roads.
The main differences between this new block and the accommodation block built within Phase 2 of the site were the upgrading of the layouts and internal finishes including enhanced kitchens, ceramic tiling, flooring and sanitaryware.
Jessops Construction Ltd were responsible for all elements of fixed equipment in the building including all bedroom furniture.
Having successfully completed this project Jessops Construction Ltd have also secured an extensive internal alterations package to the existing accommodation block to bring it up to similar standards.
