The scheme is from the regeneration of an existing brownfield site on the edge of West Bridgford adjacent to the tram stop.
The project comprises of 7no retail units and 1no drive thru food outlet. The retail units were a Lidl food store, PureGym, Starbucks Drive Thru, Cods Scallops, Dunkin, Indigo Sun, Extracare and Medivet.
The construction of these units was a steel frame with insulated composite roof panels with a mixture of insulated wall cladding panels, feature standing seam panels and brickwork.
The drive thru unit was constructed for Starbucks, shell only built to the relevant design specification along with some specific design requirements from the LPA to the roof and facades.
All external works to the drive thru lane and hard parking was constructed including signage.
Externally the scheme provided 186no car parking spaces with a mixture of parent & child, disabled and standard with parking control via an ANPR system. The scheme also provided 6no hypercharger electric car charging points.
The scheme benefited from a comprehensive and pleasant landscaping design along with the retention of a significant Lime tree retained within the car park.
