The project comprised of our continuing refurbishment of the Campus.
The section of the works this time included the removal and replacement of the following elements to 7 classrooms and existing toilets:
- Asbestos removal
- Alterations to existing lift shaft
- New disabled compliant lift
- New aluminium windows
- Alterations to form new corridor
- Floor finishes
- New suspended ceilings
- Alterations to existing toilets to form disabled compliant toilets
- New domed rooflights
- Decorations to all affected areas
The project was carried out within a live school environment so close co-ordination with the building users was paramount at all times.
